DT300 Online Density Transmitter
The DT300 Online Density Transmitter is an instrument developed for the continuous measurement of liquid density and concentration. This online density transmitter keeps measuring in real time, consequently, allowing the process a high performance with frequent corrections.
This online density transmitter uses a pioneering technology that consists of a capacitive type differential pressure sensor coupled to a pair of pressure
repeaters that works immersed in the process. At the same time, a temperature sensor located between the two pressure repeaters is used to compensate the temperature variations in the process fluid.
Internally of the DT300, there is a dedicated algorithm to calculate the fluid density and other related properties.
Depending on the industrial process, density may be expressed in g/cm3, Kg/m3, lb/ft3, Specific Gravity, Brix degree, Gay-Lussac degree, Baumé degree, Plato degree, INPM degree, API degree, Solids %, Concentration %, etc.
Protocol Technology Choices
DT300 Online Density Transmitter Series are available in three different technologies: HART® (DT301), FOUNDATION FieldbusTM (DT302) and
PROFIBUS PA (DT303). These online density devices can be configured with a Smar and other manufacturers configuration tools.
